Czechland Lake 5/10

Attempted to get some fishing in from 5:30 to Dusk.

Water temps in 70's....mainly ranging from 71/72 up to 77 in shallow areas. Weeds are in!!!....some Huge mats are there now and dont look to break up for a while. Primarily fished Frog and had several blow-up on bait but Mats a too think for smaller ones to break through. Had one hook-up though http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif . Also pitched Jig and Worm to timber with no sucess...weeds are choked onto the timber right now but will subside in few weeks I bet.

Clarity of lake is around 3 feet in some areas, very good for just after a hard rain spell. Bluegills are roaming in shallow areas and are spawning now unless almost done since some areas are getting to upper 70's in temp.............Always nice to hear them sitting in the weeds sucking at the top when it quiet http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
