I have lost my number. I am going to big cedar the 8 of may, but I want to go up early and fish. I have stayed at a place straight across the lake from big cedar in a cove and really liked the resort. It is on the right going into the cove from the lake, has a little dock and boat ramp, and the cabins are red (I think).
What is the name of this place?? Your help is appreciated.

Do you fish table rock much? I wiull be there may 7-11. What stage of the spawn are they in? I am hoping to put my son on some sight fishing. I figure the smallmouth will be on pea gravel fairly main lake.
I've been fishing TR this week. Some are on beds but not many. Spawn should continue for 3-4 weeks, so I've heard. Late this year due to the weather.
That is what I figured. I am hoping that I may be there right in the middle of the show. I got on the sight bite in the first of may about five years ago and it was great. I have hopes that this year will be the best.

We fished from the Kimberling Bridge toward the dam last weekend hoping the fish were up in the shallow stuff. They weren't as far as we can tell. We saw no sign of shad and the bass we did catch were full of nightcrawlers.
They were pulling water pretty hard though. Best of luck this weekend. We are going to try the upper end of the lake this weekend.
