I was hoping you had been , I always like to read your reports, you seam to have a pretty good hold of how to catch em on the Rock, hope to meet up with some of you regular T Rock anglers sometime. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Yes, I guess you could say I fished there last Friday, Saturday and Sunday, although I was more successful watching the eagles. Tried back in the creeks near Mill Creek, out at the point, in 30-40 feet off other nearby points and docks, and used a Texas rig, Wiggle Wort, small Doctor spoon, green pumpkin wacky worm, and a grub - without success. Saw very few fish on the graph and the ones I saw weren't biting.
Water was 55 degrees. I think the fish are really scattered.
Just watched Pete's fishing report. He said the water was starting to turn over between
Baxter and Shell Knob. Paul and I are going down in the morning. We will wear the banks out for the first couple of hours. Then we'll back off and try the spoon bite out deep. I'll let ya'll know if we figure anything out.
Fished Shell Knob last Friday and found fish in 30 to 35 feet on cuts in bluff banks where the wind was blowing in. Fished drop shot and the fish seemed to be in the cedar trees. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mug1.gif
Paul and I had a pretty good trip on the 3rd. Gonna try it again after Christmas. Probably around the 31st. As usual, I'll let ya'll know how we do. Is any body else getting to go? I know its been pretty cold. My buddy Bill from work went to Stockton yesterday. He had to break ice to launch and used his Champion as an "ice breaker" all over the CC access area. He caught one little bass then froze out and had to go home.

Here's a picture he sent me yesterday from Stockton. Looks pretty bleak to me.
Went to Shell Knob Wednesday and caught some on the bluff banks in 30 foot of water only had two keeper spots but they were full of small crawdads, green in color. Good luck if you get out and have a great holiday.
