Just got down here, gonna be here till saturday afternoon, went out for about two hours and hardly fished at all but I did not need to to find fish, I hope I can connect on them. Gonna go look a little more tommarow. First time out this year (been REAL busy) so I hope I can give you all a good report.
I'm on a long stretch at work without a day off. It will be Friday the 23rd before I can get
down there. Let me know how you do. Every cove should be good by now!!
Well I am back, Caught around 60 fish friday and saturday, they bit good on friday but not as good today. Lots of fish but very few keepers, TONS of fish on the beds and all males. Did some sight fishing and caught some but the wind today made it hard. I stayed in or near big creek and friday caught spinnerbait fish all day and topwater all day as well. I am not sure where the big ones are but I looked hard. My friends ran to baxter area and found big females on the nest over there. They were eating craws, coughed em' up after being caught. The topwater and spinnerbait bite shut off today and caught most on small craws in around 10 feet of water.

The next day I went back so I could get my son Michael in on the action too.
I may try to go Friday this week.......then I am off ALL of the following week.
April 24-30th. Can't wait!!!
