Re: Table Rock Help (brad jessen)
Well, its a big lake and it all is a little different in each section. They will be having the FLW tour taking place that weekend. I plan on begin there Sunday myself cruising around spectating. You might want to go up one of the three rivers... white, james, or kings. It will probably be warmest that time of year.
Re: Table Rock Help (smkur50)
Mostly have fished up around Cape Fair area. River channels and small pockets are easy to find above the bridge. Crankbaits? would be the best.
Re: Table Rock Help (brad jessen)
you are gonna want to go up the big rivers as stated above, jigs and brown craw wiggle warts, 1-8' deep would be my guess. Look for gravel or mixed rock, find the warmest water you can, bring your rain gear and be careful up the rivers this time of year, not much rain yet but it is time to start. I am very partial to the james river but that is just me.
Re: Table Rock Help (TobyG.Mo)
I would have to agree about going up the rivers this time of year..It will be crowded with the FLW and the locals out fishing with the worm weather that we have been geting..
Re: Table Rock Help (mike long)
Just my humble opinion but I think you can do pretty well right around there without running up any of the rivers. Also, if you want to catch smallmouth that is the best area of the lake. I will be out of town the next few days but feel free to send me an IM or email (tecustombaits@aim.com) and I will see what I can do...I will be on the water Tues-Wed next week so I should be able to help. I have to be a little careful because I took some FLW guys out last week but I have plenty of holes on that pond http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
