I was out there two weekends ago, but didn't see the outing. My partner and I did alright. We were there from sunrise to 11AM and caught about 12 large but only two keepers, a 17 and a 19 (~6lbs)... I love watching the tournament guys race through my favorite holes trying to crank/spin everything as fast as they can and run on, so I'll follow them after a few minutes and work them with a plastic and catch a couple every time (I'm sure I just put the jinx on myself with that statement)...
I hear the crappie are almost always hungry from the crappie fishermen.
I love the larges, but am anxious for some cold weather to try cranking for walleye, IÂve never done that and it looks like fun...
Has anyone ever caught a Musky on Clinton? They say there are some in the lake, I've never seen one out there, but just curious if anyone else has...
I caught a 42 in Tiger Musky below the spillway about 4 years ago. Doubt theres too many left in the lake I dont think its been restocked in a long time.
I have caught one about 3-4 years ago and saw one this summer. Both of them have been under 30" if I was to guess. That lake does have some nice Walleye, if you can find them.
I hear about people having a hard time catching walleye but I have caught some nice ones on Cranks without trying just west of the 54 bridge. I also hear about the walleye guys catching Bass etc. You know the luck! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
