Went to Rodman on Weds. & Thurs. Put in at Kenwood and the "makeshift ramp" is in good shape there! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif Caught a couple fish at the Ocklawa/Barge Canal Xing then headed upriver. Caught a couple more at the "deep hole" located near Granny's Pond! Headed farther upstream and stopped in area where the river crosses back over the Barge Canal(almost to Orange Springs) and caught a bunch of "schoolies" with a few 1.5-2lbers mixed in. Went on up to Cypess Bayou and caught a few dinks and some big a$$ Muds http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif.
!!!!!!!!!! If you go up past Orange Springs be very careful in the area between the Orange Springs ramp and the trees whereit spills out onto the flat). There is a log or stump just below the surface right in the middle of the channel just south of the little island(stump island). Water in the river is still extremely dirty so the fish seem to be hanging close to the "runouts/run-ins" where there's some cleaner water! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
