Hello , I was wondering if anyone has been down to Pleasant Hill lately . Last I heard was that the lake was closed due to flooding . If it has re-opened , has anyone been doing any good ? I will be fishing an open tournament there this weekend and could use all the help I can get seeing how I have not had the oppertunity to get down this year so far .

You are correct that the lake was closed due to flooding. What day is the open and who is hosting it? I will be going out tonight to fish the Tuesday night legue. I can hopefully put something togeather to help you out. I was out there end of June and put a whooping on the boys, and had 3.5lb smallie. Have you heard anything or have any info on Deleware Lake? I am going down on Saturday for a club tourney and have only been there one other time. Later
Good luck at the Tuesday night pot tourny . I sure do miss fishing those down there as well as the Wed. pot tourny at Clear Fork . If you here any info or figure them out , any help would be awesome . The Midwest Sportsman division up there is hosting the open on Saturday . They are blasting off at 6 am . Tell Don I said hey when you talk to him . I will email you some info as to what has been happening at Delaware . Thanks in advance .
"WOW" is all I can say about Pleasant Hill testerday . It took 14.65# to win with a 5 fish limit ! There were 5 bags over 10# weighed in as well . I ended up with 8.5# and thought we were doing good . LOL This lake is on fire right now !

I didn't fish there this year but last year was pretty good. Went there only once but hooked into a 40"+ muskie which broke me off after about a minute right at the boat. I was fishing a 7" june bug worm and he hit it twice while I was fishing it on the bottom. About a hour later I was fishing in the creek (shallow end) around some downed trees and got a nice 7-14" largemouth on a jig. I didn't think they grew them this big in that lake. Especially with muskies inhabiting that lake. Going up the creek I saw another muskie that easily went over 46". I cast a few times but he just kept going. Sure made me want to go back but just hadn't had much of a chance this year.

Those Muskie sur elove that creek in the summer months ! Saw over a dozen of them up there last time I went . There are some HUGE ones in that lake .
