Hey guys, I am building a lure turner so I can start epoxying my baits, and was wondering what RPM's work best for turning. I have a 3RPM motor and a 6 RPM motor, and was curious which would work best. Thanks in advance for any input, advice, wisecracks, etc. lol
I would go with the 3rpm. That's what I've been using and it works great. Remember the further away from the center line (axis?)the faster the lures are going to spin. So, if you are using a "ferris wheel" type set up then the lures will be spinning faster than 3rpms. If you use the 6rpm with a similar set up, it might end up being way too fast.
