I have bought some that were stuck together, somewhat, and they didn't seem to cause any issues when tying. I just seperate the strands before tying...maybe we are talking about 2 different "sticking" problems. These almost seemed 'vacuum packed"

Same thing. They will sometimes get to the point that they become distorted. I am not sure it the plastic "sweats". The baby powder does help but make it messy when tying. I thought about spraying them with WD40 but thought that might not be a good idea. I was just wondering what some of you guys did.

A trick I learned was to just place the layers right out the package in the palm of your hand and just rub your hands together like your trying to warm them. It should seperate them enough to work with. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
