PAINTING ULTRA MINNOW SPINNER MOLD WITH POWDER PAINT
can anyone give me some tips on how you go about painting this mold with powder paint? i know you got to heat the head a little then dip it in but it never comes out right for me. it might be just the way this paint is but it seem extremly thick. to the point that it fills in the eye cavity almost completly.. it also covers all the detal in the mold. is there a way to thin it down a little or i might just be doing it all wrong..

Try heating lure, dip que-tip in powder and lightly tap on lure if you work quick you should have enough time to do it. I've done this to mix splatters on my jigs and gives a cool effect.

they make a powder paint airbrush that works well for spinnerbaits and other lures that are hard to dip. check out,TJ'S TACKLE.COM http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
