Anybody spraying the Dick Nite's top coat? I just ordered some and was wondering if I needed to pick up a .5mm gun to spray or if I could spray with my .35 mm.

Which version did you get?
I was told the old version was 4:1 with acetone if sprayed thru a .35mm. I use a .5mm for clears most of the time.
I don't know much about the water version
I am going to try out the water base. It sounds like you can just thin it with water and not have any of the storage issues. The only downside I heard was that it had a longer cure time.
12-14 days depending on the room temp.
I was told to store the old DN in baby food glass jars upside down. Pour out what you need and close it up and store it upside down. That was you didn't ruin a whole lot if it started to cure. Just 4 oz
I use the screw trick and it has lastedt over 2 years, but them again I brush mine on also. I would liek to figure out how you run it though the gun.
Guys just a little safety tip... please don't spray clears without proper ppe. Wear the correct rated respirator and have good ventilation. Don't want to lose any talented painters.

+ 1 The clearcoat can be lethal, if proper protection is not used .
Granted I live in the western US where humidity isn't very high so this might not be applicable to some folks. But I have stored the "old" DN in a mason jar for 2 years and haven't had a problem with it. If you store it in a container and turn it upside down you will never ever get the lid off. I've played that game....
