When I paint a lure I usually brush on the clear coat. I was wondering how and what you use to spray a clear coat on. Do you use an airbrush and if so how do you thin the clear coat so it will shoot through.

I clear with Dick nites and thin with Laquer thinner...(airbrush)
However with anytype of clear your gonna shoot read the health warnings, it's usually not real good for your lungs http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sweating.gif ....respirator req.
I shoot 2K urethane and use a Paache H single action brush. It a very simple brush that is easy to clean out.
Get yourself a mini touch up gun. Their cheap and worth their weight in gold. Harbor freight or ebay you can pick them up for 20-25 bucks.. Just don't spray 2ton though it... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
