I made mine out of cheep pine. The motor is from a old vcr I think and the controller is from a model train set. I put the thread on by hand and use the motor to dry the epoxy

Thanks randy that's exactly what I needed to see great work right there
I'm honestly not sure where I got my motor from, but I know I got a foot pedal from Harbor Freight for like 15 bucks or something
So is it better to have a motor to wrap w foot pedal or easier to just do it by hand.
Speeking for myself I am not sure I could handle a foot pedal. That is a little to advanced for this kid.

I've got a power wrapper but still wrap by hand without power. If I'm doing a long butt wrap or tiger wrap I will use power. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
