Looks good http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
What did you use or How did you strip the reels to prepare for paint?
Re: painted a reel (marshall256)
I took the reel side plates apart. Did not do the frame. Taking the side plates off is simple. remove a few screws and such kept everything in order as it came off.
Then sanded the original finish off. Should have used a finer finishing sand paper to remove sanding marks. Thought the primer would fill it in d'oh. can't really see it unless you look very very closely.
Used Dupli-color mystere three can spray - primer, base colour and top coat. used several light coats of each. let stand 20 minutes between coats. The more coats of the base colour and top coat the deper the colour.
The hardest part was the sanding.
I also did the reel seat in the second picture

Those PT's didn't need to be painted? I have some that are bone colored plastic from the finish wearing off. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif They are the best reel I have ever used.

Re: painted a reel (Munkin)
The first picture was not of my reels but a web photo to show the original colour.
And yes they needed painting because the original colour was boring.
