Was fishing this weekend and running down lake and check engine alarm went off. Everything running fine. Goes off while idiling but as soon as you go to get on plane alarm goes off. Took it easy mostly just idiling around but occassionaly would give the gas and alarm would go off but boat ran fine. None of the other alarms went off. What's the problem?
What were the tones? Fast rapis beeps? Ther should eb a chart on the boat that tells you what they mean.
fuel restriction maybe..anti siphon valve in the tank?
It was a long steady beep and the beep stopped but light stayed on. When going back to idle the light would go back off.
I had the same thing happen on my 200HP, the horn is for a fuel restriction, mine was the vacumn switch
