When I bake my shakey heads, the eyes are closing up on some of them...I bake at 250 for 15 minutes...They are perfect before they bake...Pro-tec powder paint... I use a fluid bed, so I don't think they are too thick...They are not too bad, as I can clean them easily with a hot wire, but it is wasting my time to have to do this..Any suggestions...
Try cleaning the eyes before you bake. I was having the same problem sometimes but when I started cleaning before I baked, the problem went away. Hope this helps. John
Try making some small metal hangers like Christmas ornaments and hang the jigs by the eye when you bake them.

They eyes were open, but not cleaned off...I may try that, but did a couple dozen today @ 200 degrees for 12 minutes and they seem like they did better and are very hard, so I think it was just too hot for too long...
