WTB>Drop Shot Minnows...Anyone make these?
I'm looking for someone who makes minnows like this and if at all possible http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif one in perch colored. These are Skinny Bear brand, but I need some trout or perch colored baits.

PM me your address and I will send you some of the ones I make for free. Just let me know what you think and post a decent pic of one on here for me. I plan on becoming a sponsor and selling these after the first of the year.

Travis,
Try this website. They do not have them in perch, but they do have 8 other colors.

bass pro shops sells a "hand poured DS minnow" in their XPS line of baits.

These are very time consuming to make if you hand pour. Most of these style of baits are injected, but a few guys pour them. The price will reflect the time that has to go into making these. They take twice as long to pour as a normal worm if done right. To keep the eyes on properly they have to be dipped in a clear coat of plastic. Some guys dip the entire body like on the Basstrix type baits, and others just add drops of clear plastic to cover the eyes. I don't think you will find any hand poured versions much cheaper, if at all, but the quality is better in my opinion. Another good bait that I have used since I don't pour a realistic minnow type bait is the Panic Minnow. Check them out, they have won a lot of money up here in Washington state.

I will have to agree with everything he said! These things are a PITA to pour especially the little split tails. Dipping the heads in clear plastic is the only way to get the eyes to stay on. The glue backing barely sticks to the soft plastic? Using super or pro soft glue clouds the eyes and hardens the head. I have some rainbow trout colored baits I poured yesterday but I still need to add the eyes.
