I saw on the bassmaster web site a few days ago that KVD was throwing a chartreuse sexy shad pattern crankbait, has anyone ever seen one of these or could it be a prototype lure to be released later. I hope this doesn't start another sexy shad debate, IMHO the norman sx shad looks better than the strike king version and the colors seem to be the same on all lures instead of being different shades.
I have not seen that one. I wish they would make a chrome crankbait like the red eye shad.
depending on the depth your looking for, norman does make a chrome sx shad in the DD14+DD22 models. I'm sure they do in other depths also. http://sfttackle.com/index.cfm...D=575

Ive seen the chrome sexy shad, but not chartruse.. Sounds like their attaching "sexy shad" to about any color they can think of, as a marketing ploy.. Not to mention it's probably a good color too..
i have some chartruese sexy shads in the red eye shad, they are chartruese with a gray stripe , just reverse of the sexy shad. i have a lure that kvd used at the grand lake elite that he won last year and it does not have the chartruese stripe and one of them that has a yellow stripe .

Seriously thought there is also a new orange belly version of the sexy shad by strike king. I picked up a series 5 in it. Something like it's called the pittman creek color????

Norman makes a great bait, a deep little N Gelcote finish pearl with Chart back. #183 It's my #1 crankbait !!!!!
Well the crhome bait is interesting, but I also like this version that is part chrome.
