They look like a real good idea to me. Only problem is, they don't have a chart showing how big they are...unlike the round ones.
If you use oval split rings, how big do you use on jerkbaits and smallish cranks for line and hook attachment? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
They go by the same type of size chart.Don't use them on hook attachments only use them on the line tie.
So, would the oval spit rings be the same length as the diameter of the round split ring, if the # is the same? I've yet to see a chart specifically for oval split rings.
