Berkley "Nanofil" reports?
Anybody used the Berkley Nanofil yet? Any thoughts on it would be of interest. I saw it at the local sportsman's show, and it seems limp and VERY slippery. They had 1 pound test on a spinning rod. Seemed large for 1 lb test. Wondering what knots work, abrasion resistance, etc. Darned expensive stuff, so I am looking before leaping. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif

Barry...Thank you very much for your post and link. I read the article completely, and I am also shocked at the impact resistance. As I am an enthusiastic user of circle hooks for DS and Senko-type baits, it would probably be ok for the "hookset", but I am not interested in losing a decent fish. I guess I'll experiment with more braids and fluorocarbon leaders, or continue using my favorite co-polymers. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif

Wow! I guess I need to thank Barry for sharing and saving me $20. I was going to buy a spool this spring. Saved me alot of frustration as well.

I won 2 spools of 8# in an online giveaway that Berkley had a couple of months ago. I have not put it on yet. After reading this I think I will just stay with Suffix Elite and not worry about breaking a fish off.....
