Does anyone fish a c-rig at night? How about a dropshot. Never tried either, but it seems there could be a time and place for each technique. The noise and disturbance caused by the c-rig has to get the attention of the fish. The dropshot could be held in the right cover longer than other dragging or hopping techniques. I have caught fish on a C-Rig at night. Haven't tried a drop shot. Even during the day I only rarely fish a drop shot. I have considered fishing it at night in a particular situation though and I think it would work fine. But I find with work and a baby and stuff I'm usually fishing a tournament when I go at night now. Just don't fun fish much at night anymore and i don't like to experiment too much during a tournament.

No reason you could catch them...Especially on a "bubba" size drop shot. QUestion would be, "Is it the most efficient/best way to catch them...Let us know! My bro-in-law had a 4lb. LM come out of his boat on a drop shot after dark on T-Rock...Mostly because they didnt know any better...
I fish a C-rig at night a lot! Never tried a dropshot at night.
