Original Wiggle Wart hook size?

I purchased an old, original Wiggle wart that had all the original hardware on it. I replaced all the o-rings and the original hooks were size 6. But I would prefer short-shank #4 Gammies. Has anyone used #4 instead of #6? How did it fair? Thanks for your help.

I have been doing it for years with the round bend gamakatsu but it is hard to do with the EWG. The normal hook size for the old wiggle warts was no. 5 I believe and they are hard to find. You can also get smaller split rings for the no. 4 if you desire. The snag rate is a little more with the no 4 but the fish hookup rate is better also.
