Help for Sacandaga Lake, NY
I'm looking for some help with Sacandaga Lake.
I'm looking for patterns, not anyone's hot spots.
I will be fishing the Empire BFL super tournament Sept. 26, with NO PRE FISH TIME. I have never even seem the lake and I will not see it till the morning of the tournament.
I'm just looking to catch at least one keeper for points. I'm in 7th place in the standings and had no plans on fishing this tournament but, I want to go to the Potomac Regional. I do not think I will stay in the top 40 if I do not fish Sacandaga Lake and weigh at least one bass.
Please HELP!
THANKS!

U shouldn't have a problem getting a small limit at that time of year. Its really a smallmouth only fishery, there are a few greenies but smallies are much more plentiful. Its a reservoir and depending on rainfall the lake will most likely be pretty low that time of year. More rockpiles then you could fish in a lifetime. There are alot of sunken and exposed islands throughout the lake that hold fish in the fall. Also quite a few rock jetties a short ride from the mayfield area which I think is where the T is out of. Good Luck IM me if you want to talk about the lake some more. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

THANKS FOR THE INFO SO FAR!
I just need to know the best method to catch ONE keeper bass. I can not even fish the 2nd day, so no need to even try.
You can PM me any helpful info.
I'm not investing in a map, most likely FLW OUTDOORS will never be back there.
