I've been know to throw a Flash Minnow around deep docks or bluff cut trash-piles in the summer. Haven't caught a bunch of fish but the ones I have got were usually good size.
I'll fish them in the summer around boat docks and windblown grass lines. I usually like to throw shad color or fire tiger colored rattlin rogues. However, lately the gold and orange Diawa DR minnows have been killing for me http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Floating Rogues in shad colors work around here.
