How to keep your hooks rust free?
Just wondering if there are any tricks or how to's as to keeping hooks rust free. I have been going through my tackle lately and have been noticing some rust on hooks especially on my crankbaits which also causes rust stains on the baits themselves. I know the obvious is to change out hooks but I was wondering if there is anything you can put in your boxes. I use plano 3700 series boxes. Thanks in advance.

go to a local pharmacy and ask for some of the silicone packets that they throw away daily.
Put a couple in your tackle box and you are good to go.

Cheap quick fix. Break off the ends of some Qtips & put them in each one of your compartments. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif

I leave too many on the bottom of the lake for that to be a problem. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
