Re: KNOT problems.... (Jeremy)
What kind of line are you using?
Re: KNOT problems.... (Jeremy)
Try a Berkley Braid knot, using only three turns for fluorocarbon, instead of eight like you need for braid. I haven't had a knot failure yet. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/pimp2.gif
Re: KNOT problems.... (doug46)
big game mono and seagar Floro
Re: KNOT problems.... (Jeremy)
I use an improved clinch knot with both mono and floro, I use seagar too. Never had a problem just wet it with spit when you pull it tight.

I don't use floro much, but I think the improved clinch is hard to beat with mono.
Re: KNOT problems.... (looking4five)
I like the San Diego Jam for fluoro, but if you want simple, go with the palomar. It will work for nylon and fluoro if tied correctly and alot of lubrication is used.
Re: KNOT problems.... (Klinger N Ok)
i use the s.d. jam knot on flouro also w/o any problems.i also use a uni-knot which is easy to tie and no problems.
