Need some advice for a tourny.
Little lake that I have tourny this weekend has a little issue. For three months it has inhabited by thousands of water birds. This little influx of major errr......fertilizer has turned the water pea green with a visibility of about 3 inches. Lake is norm gin clear with lots of think grass. Any advice on this situation? I'm thinking RATTLES.

Pick your battles wisely and stay home for this one! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

If you fish I'd probably try about anything that put off vibrations or makes noise depending on what type presentation you go with. Not sure what the dominant cover/structure is there but I'd have rattles on my plastics/jigs and try wide wobbling crankbaits and chatterbaits or bigger colorado blade spinners as examples. Good luck.

If you know where they bed at and you can't see the beds, you could go around and throw a horse or a bang-o in the general area. If you are talking about kingsley forget what I just said it is clear as could be and there are several beds around the deeper docks and posts. There were alot of skitish bucks up thursday and saw alot of bigger fish roaming, did not check anywhere else.

just because of the color doesnt mean it will adversely affect the fishing.id fish the same way for the time of yr.i would target the stage of fish and fish to them.all three stages in shallow water are going to bite reaction type baits.
