Hi, im new 2 the forums been lookin at em for awhile now finally decided 2 register. i recently purchased a new boat that has a johnson gt 200 venom on it and was wondering if anyone had some information on the motors that could help me out, like performace upgrades, reliability issues, tips n tricks, what 2 look for on the motor, etc. any help would be appreciated!!

93 model first year of the closed deck and has adjustable idle speed jets.
what do u mean by closed deck? and how can i adjust the idle speed jets on my motor?
The tops of the cylinders are supported by the cylinder head area of the block, the carbs should have adjustable screws.
Check the parts program pinned at the top of this forum, look at the carbs.
what is the difference between the gt 200 and gt200 venom??
