Anyone been on the Shenandoah River (Riverton Section)-Front Royal lately?

I am looking to head out there this Saturday in the morning for a few... has anyone been out there? I heard there were some big smallies spotted.

How was the fishing at Riverton? May head out tommorrow if any are biting.

We caught some nice smallies. We fished above the train tracks and down to the 66 bridge. We caught 5 today. 4 were nice! Double tail skirted grubs. Grey smoke with a red flake.

Clear, clear ,clear. Fished Riverton today from 10-2pm. If I had known it was as clear as it was, I would have hit it a daybreak, not when sun was at it's brightest( i should have asked, though I figured it would be a little stained at least) http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif . Still a beautiful day to be out. I did see several vary nice smallies just swimming by me though.
