Re: Rip-off alert (billybass)
Had that happen at the Miller Mart on 58 next to BB&T at foot of by-pass. I made 2 charges...one at the pump and one inside the store. By the time I got home, I had a message about suspicious charges on my card. Sure enuf, 2 additional charges. I suspect the clerk in the store. They cancelled my card immediately, so no further charges were incurred. Incredibly fast response from the card company!!!! Took a couple of months, but my money was restored in my account.
I hope you get your money back quickly, Bill!!!!!!!
Re: Rip-off alert (billybass)
Must be the same guys that did the RaceWay on Oyster Pt. Rd. in NN. by my job. Might need to start going inside to pay or just use cash. No good SOB stealing our money from pumps all over the area http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif
Re: Rip-off alert (mcherry)
Kangeroo in suffolk on wilroy rd my wife swiped her card at the pump thursday morning and extra charges were added so its happening up there too waiting on new cards to come in now http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif
Re: Rip-off alert (FLIPNMAN)
Don't know if this will help anyone but after you swipe the card & are done pumping, hit the clear button on the pump. I think it is under the 7 key. This clears any info left in the machine that can be retrieved later.
