2000 Evinrude Ficht 150 Won't Start
Last night I think I ran out of gas. My guage must be off. I have never touched the fuel bulb before. Just never had to. I know it should be hard, but it wasnt. Should it be? I couldnt get it restarted. Hopefuly I just ran it out of fuel.

If you ran out of gas, then the fuel system for the injectors has to be filled and the air bled out of it.
Squeeze the ball until rock hard and have someone turn the key just to ON and keep squeezing or holding pressure on the ball while the electric fuel pump runs for its few seconds. Repeat for at least 5 times, then try to start motor. It may hit and miss for a while until the last of the air is evacuated.

Here is what I have so far. I have 15 lbs. of fuel pressure at rear test port. I can get it to start if i give it some throttle it will run at 2000 rpm. Bring it back to idle it dies. Alot of smoke. Is there a way to check the lift pump? Seems like I am restricted somewhere
2000 Evinrude Ficht 150 No Start!! fuel?
I checked for restrictions on either side of the bulb. None. The fuel filter was only half full. I filled it. No i get 20 lbs.. still wont fire. Only fires with a little throttle. Then dies!! WTF. Am I going in the right direction?

You need a service manual and about 25 psi at all speeds for your fuel rail pressure.

I have a service manual, diag software a DVM And a fuel pressure guage. My fuel pressure is 20 psi at test port With KOEO. I can get it to fire with a little throttle. I think it's my lift pump.
