Fellas I have skunked the last four times I have gone. I have been tourney fishing in the open ramp tournament out of sturgeon creek marina. I have been throwing everything from hopkins to silber buddies...jigs, carolina rigged--everything thinkable..and I am not producing anything...
I have been paitent, fishing slower than maple syrup...what's the word??? What changes can I make...
I've been fishing these same tourneys off and on for the last 5 years and I have a tough time in the winter there also. I think the locals (who seem to always win these tourneys) are fishing placed brushpiles to get the fish they are getting. I've got a few go to spots where I can raise some fish but nothing concrete until the fish start moving up. We need to hookup sometime this spring and give it a go.
In the famous words of C-Rigg.... "there are NO fish in Anna....."
I need to correct earlier posts......There is one 12" bass in Anna. He may have made 13" last time he was caught by treefarmer.....
