Top of my head, 4-6 BTDC, could be wrong, has happened before.

Yup, I think the boy is wrong. Idle timing is usually ATDC, but I don't have the exact specs handy.

See what an off the top of the head answer gets you, should have had an "A" and got a "B", reminds me of my pre school years.
Actually idle timing doesn't mean a thing on your motor, only the WOT timing is important.
The idle timing sets the idle rpm so it could be anywhere within the limits of the adjustment lever and detents.
Thanks. I will see what wot timming is at the lake while on the trailer. Sticker on the motor says 20* BTDC
