Petes favorite river report

Chick river.....fish were hitting a ribbit toad and a rico....my best fish came on the rico. Water temp was 83 degrees and water looked like coffee and cream.......

As for the water skiers and boaters......omg they were in the hundreds....water stayed churned up all day long....hated to make a move and out by the bridge at the party spot that was unreal. I finally went up into Yarmouth Creek to get away from it and here comes a ski boat and the guy was trying to ski on a bar stool mounted on a board like thing. Guy wipes out across from me and he says "Man the water is still not clean enough to ride on this" http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif

Went out this morning. Not bad, but when I left, the boaters wee coming out in force.

Got checked by the VDGIF. They had 5 boats just sitting in the middle of the river just down from shipyard ramp, and as you came up, they pulled ya over so to speak and checked ya out.

New prop (Well, worked prop) has way more lift now, so I definitely need seat time to max her out.
