Fed Nation Region 6, Gaston results for today.

Gaston was a bear today as evidenced by the low weights but here are the top 5. (4 fish limits)

Rick Smith with 8.35
Jeff Banko with 8.30
Dale Cook with 8.20
Jeff Salmon with 8.10
and David Wilson with 7.95.

Notice who took second, I knew I had fish to win and thought I would push around 13 -14lbs to the scale. Never thought that 8.30 would take second. It was tough out there, I talked to a bunch of guys that were fishing the Greenville Marine T, and some of the other t's and it seemed no one was catching. I was able to catch a lot of fish just no real giants. All my fish came on a flat sided crankbait with a little bit of chartreuse on the back fishing parallel to points with real big rock. All where on the main lake.

congrats on the win , gaston sucked yesterday . 5 and change won ours , i bet there was 1500 bass boats on the water ,never seen it that full . i never caught a keeper but every fish down there with all of the tourneys and practice had probably been caught threee times http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
