hi there ..
pls i need store my motor 175 Johnson for 3 years and because am in place that i don't have any kind of tools for that thing people advice me to put car oil in the cylinders and tight the plugs so that will protect it ....is that right ...if not any advice .

I would suggest you have it prepared for that kind of storage by a dealer.

Fog engine heavy, drain all fuel from boat and engine, fill engine fuel system with XD 100, change gear lube, cover all exhaust openings.
Thats a long time to store an outboard.
Also grease all the fittings, wipe down the outside and wax the motor
