I have a single power pole with a remote and a switch on the dash. It deployed down but wouldn't retract. Neither switch worked so I used the outboard to get to the boat ramp and got in the water and manually pushed the pole up. It will not stay up without being tied together. I need help figuring it out. It looks like the fluid is full with no leaks. Thanks in advance.
Did the pump run and not retract. Or did nothing run. If the pump runs, I ask this, are you using the PP green (biodegradable) fluid. The green fluid breaks down and stops the pickup screens up. Mine did this a couple of months ago. The fluid has to be changed every couple of years.
The pump ran it down. I don't know what kind of oil is used, I haven't owned the boat but 8 months. Now the green light is not on so I'm chasing that too. I havent used it but a half dozen times.
