Setting up new boat— question on 3 in 1 HD

Sold my last boat in 22 so 3 in 1 was best they has
now i see the HD is out.

my question is

is the HD worth it?
i was considering going with Lives
but i read i got to have the module to run the HD
so if thats the case probably worth the money to get the pro units.

whats yalls thoughts on the HD ducer?

i was going to run a live 16 on bow for active target 2
then a 12 live or pro on bow
and 16 live on console or pro if HD is best bet

Lives are no longer in Production eventhough you can find new inventory. Go with the Pro then you don't need the box they work directlly plugged into the Pro and the HD transducer comes with the pro. Their was just a MSRP price reduction a few weeks back. You als get Ping Sync on the Pro so your transducers per unit fire all at the same time which prevents transducer cross talk noise. New tech down the road will most likely work on the Pro but not the Lives.

You will only need the box with the Pro for "Fish Reveal" which I have and do not see the benefit of adding the $1500 Box

You get fish reveal on di with the standard hd 3n1. You'll need the hd 3n1 fr transducer and the module for si fish reveal.
