Astro F-20 Set Up

Looking for some insight on best motor height and props to run on a '94 Astro F-20. Has a freshly rebuilt 1999 200 merc efi with a brucato ecu on it with a laser 2 25p. The motor that came off it was a '94 200 but it locked up and decided to buy a newer one to rebuild. I never could drive the original motor to its max potential because of chine walk but can't seem to get this one to break 62 with 2 people and 1 22gal tank full and a 1/4 of another one. Any help to get this set up right would help me greatly as it's my first time setting motor height and working on dialing a set up in. Also the prop keeps blowing out as I'm coming up on plane but not when I'm fully trimmed. All plugs are taken out would putting some of them back in help that situation?

The laser 2 is not that good of a prop. Try a 25" pitch Tempest.

I'm trying to get my hands on one as soon as possible. Have heard a lot of people say the tempest is a great one to run
