1994 Merc 2.5 200xri detonation module removal

I am wanting to remove the detonation control and spark advance modules from my motor. Aside from just physically removing them, does anyone know for sure what needs to be done with some of the wires that stay. Does the ECU wire that goes to the box need to be grounded? What needs to happen to the two green wires that go from #2 cylinder to the box? What about the bias wire in the white wires with black stripes that go to the switchboxes, do they need to be jumped together? Anyone that has done this or knows for sure the proper way I would greatly appreciate some advice.
