What are you guys wearing for shorts??

What are you guys wearing?? Holly cow I’ve been looking, and what is the deal now??? It’s like they’re all Tommy Biffle type shorts. I wear the Huk 10.5” now, but the new ones have changed a bunch and seems cheap as can be.

I’d like to have some that aren’t like women’s shorts, the dry fit type material, would love to have stretchy waistband if possible.

Just curious what brand you all are wearing.??

I need some too. Most are too long for me. I hate having shorts hemmed.

Kast King shorts for the last couple of years.

Some off brand my wife got me from Amazon, 5 pair was $37. They're thin, lightweight, fast drying, cool, only drawback is they only have 2 side pockets.

I buy $10.99 irregular jeans at Roses and cut them off where I want them to be. Most I hem up, some I don't. They have all kind of jeans, all kind of different materials.
I'm not giving any company $40 for a pair of shorts.

Not the cheapest option, but I really like the Adidas golf shorts, they are the microfiber polyester whatever so they don’t wrinkle, sit right above the knee, they’ve got a stretchy waist. Very comfortable

I’ve been wearing Patagonia Baggies 7″ lately – they’ve got a comfy elastic waistband, deep pockets that actually fit stuff, and aren’t that thin dry-fit material.

Cargo shorts. Cotton or mostly cotton. In really warm weather fishing I just wear breathable gym shorts. Several brands. What ever fits and feels good. You can tell I am not high classed folks.:laugh: The reason I really like cargo shorts is I like the fact they have pockets. Got to have a place to stuff whatever soft plastic I am fishing.

When I'm fishing, I wear nothing but Striker fishing shorts. The ventilated crotch is what sold me but they are the MOST comfortable shorts I've ever found. I wear them around everyday.

I have a couple pairs of Aftco shorts that I wear occasionally, but I have to say my new favorite shorts for the past couple of years are Dillard’s brand York and Roundtree Performance shorts. They come in 7”, 9”, and 11” inseam. Probably were designed for golfing, but they’re most comfortable and resilient shorts. I’ve found.

I wear Under Armour 7" athletic for daily around the house, then either carpenter jean shorts from Wrangler or Columbia cargo moisture wicking when fishing or out and about.

I always liked the Old Navy cargo shorts. Several pairs I’ve worn until they get ratty and then I use them for yard work. Unfortunately, the newer style has a shorter inseam and are more trim fit. The old Wrangler anglers are some good shorts as well.

The short shorts from the 60s/70s are the trend nowadays. back when I was a kid in the 90s to late 00s, if you had shorts that went above your knee, it’s because you liked men and wanted to show your thighs off to dudes :laugh:

I get most of my shorts from the Sierra store or steep and cheap.. basically board/golf/outdoor shorts or that type of materials. Very light and breathable. I prefer a 10.5” inseam. Puts it right at my kneecap when I’m standing and just above when I sit.

When fishing, cheap Walmart cotton gym shorts.

Being a male, i wont wear girl length booty shorts. My main ones now are Magellan fishing shorts, they are 10 or 11".
