Great air this time of the year
I love the smell of burning rubber this time of year.
:thumb up2:
A real BBC man would never go an eight mile. He would go the quarter
I was there to see it myself. Had a great time. If you have never seen the nitros running 4 wide, GO sometimes.
Doug Kalitta set the track et record at 3.646 also.
For sure. Can’t describe it. At the first one we had a lady sitting behind us that had never been to a drag race before. She had been to many NASCAR races before. I tried to warn her what was going to happen but she didn’t believe me. When the first quads came she started screaming at the top of her lungs. She asked what was that. I said nitro dear. She wanted to know if she was having a heart attack. I said it was from the vibrations from the cars
You just have to be there to know! No doubt
Not a fan of 4 wide. But love them top fuelies.
Any one remember Eddie Hill? Top fuel record holder on both land and water. He had some big time accidents racing both back in the day and was a pioneer in several safety devices.
