BCB, it would be really awesome to offer a heated steering wheel for those cold days to warm your hands up. Im suprised that none of the boat companies offer such an option.

ranger did briefly, until the steering wheels started coming off in the drivers hands (aka skeet)
Both seats and steering wheels have given companies that offered them major headaches. Shaw Grigsby was upset when his company once quit offering the seats, until he learned why.
Wear some gloves:wink:
So what is the big hurdle in the marine industry? I can see why seats are sketchy but Phoenix seems to be doing ok with the option (I say that because a friend of mine has them and he hasn't had an issue). I would think a steering wheel would be more reliable than seats. Just curious as to what the big issues are. Cars and trucks have had them for decades.
I do at times. i see you're in Texas where they think 45 degrees is cold. I'm in Minnesota. I'll fish when the ice comes off the lake and the water is 39 degrees and the air temp is 30. I like to be able to feel whats happening with my bait. I can go bare handed all day but have to breathe on them to keep them warm. Just thought it would be nice to put my hands on a warm wheel when graphing or moving. I use hand warmers and gloves as needed.
