Just wondering if any of you add a tiny bit of super glue to your braid-to-leader connection knot? I've had a few knots slip in the past and thought this might be a way of helping just in case the knot was not cinched down tight enough.

the absolute tiniest bit dabbed on with a nail.
No, I never have.
I've only had that issue with "slick" braid and a blood knot. No issues with an FG pulling out.
I use it on the Rizzuto finish to keep it from unraveling.
When I need to, I use a product from Loon called Knot Sense. It's flexible.
I've tried it on the Alberto and the FG. IMO, it only adds to the bulk of the knot. I used the FG 100% not, and never had issues with them coming undone. Bonus: that fluffed up tag end works like a little strike indicator.
I do on my offshore gear. If I was a tournament angler I think I would when rigging the night before.
If you tie proper knots properly, not needed.
Dadgum sure messy in the boat.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I tie an Alberto knot and 95% of the time I don't have any issues. But I have had three times where the knot came undone, including one time when I lost an expensive bait. I bought one of the Gorilla Glue super glue with the brush so I could add just a little bit if I wanted to.
Nope, wouldn't want something hard like that going through the guides.
I use a small smear of Loon UV Knot Sense. Keeps knot tight and smooth the transition. And it dries to not be too hard. Highly recommend.

I use a dab on my knots then I cinch them. That stuff is amazing. I dropped a ceramic coffee cup, one of my favorites. The handle shattered into 4 pieces. I matched the residue up as well as I could and super glued it back together. That was months and many washings and dishwasher loads ago.
I trust it.
If you tie a FG knot correctly, You will not be able to pull it apart while your crankbait is stuck on a log.
Your leader will break before the knot pulls apart.
I also use an Alberto knot. I’ve never had it fail and my leader always breaks before the knot slips. If the knot goes through your guides, I’d just be cautious about putting super glue on it as the glue will make it essentially a rock hard object going through the guides
If your knot is tied correclty, there's no need for glue.
As others on here say absolutely no need with a properly tied knot. I use the Alberto knot with no issues. The only time it occasionally fails is after I have caught 20+ fish on the same connection knot and was just lazy to retie sooner.
