If it wasn’t for hole buzzards BASS would never have made it. In the early days in the seventies it was a given that the pros would pay a guy to sit on a hole until they decided to fish it. An older friend of mine was a Professor at Auburn in the seventies. Tom Mann used to pay him to guard a hole during tournaments on Eufaula.
