Jump start switch

I’m installing a Ranger type jumper switch in my 2007 Ranger. Found a 4 position switch by Blue Sea but need suggestions on wire size. I have a 150 Mercury Optimax motor. What size wire is recommended for this type of install? appreciate any help.

I'd run no less that 10 but 8 would work better.

I would match the positive gauge wire going from your battery to the motor. More than likely it’s a 4 gauge.

Agree with DB. No less than #4
