Getting ready to replace tires on my truck and want to order new sensors for the TPMS system. Looking at Rock Auto OE list there is programed ones from Bosh to GM. Does anyone have experience working with these ? I know Bosh is a well known name as is schrader also on the list. Just looking for some that will work with my GM vehicle with no issues.
Did you price GM sensors? Autel is a great brand and reasonably priced. Batteries are usually good for 10 years. How old is your truck?
Why our you replacing them? I've used the preprogrammed ones for work vehicles with a few exception no problems but still may need programmer to get them to work. Reputable tire shop will have the tool
I need to replace the ones in Camry. Batteries are dead. They want $250 per tire at the dealer. I’m like yeah I’m not spending $1000 to see tire pressure on a $7000 car. Lol. I do miss not having ‘em though.
Out of curiosity what happens when they go bad and you don't replace them? Just a continuous warning light on the dash or something more significant?

I have installed a lot of Schrader and some BH sens off of rock auto with good results. A 2015 GM will be a 315 Mhz sensor and also get the correct stem style that you currently have. Its probably the rubber snap in style but some had the aluminum threaded type. Avoid the multi frequency (315 and 433Mhz) sensors and the cheap ebay stuff as sometimes its old china stock with dead or weak batteries. The new sensors will need to be programmed to truck but its a quick and easy thing for any shop with a TPMS tool.

Doesn’t the Camry have a programmable pressure level to activate the light? You could just program it to zero and then it would stay off.

I just went thru this trying to swap some 17" wheels with 20" wheels from a 2021 year model to a 2023.
They will not interchange. Even though Discount tire told me they would. The 2023 and 2024 sensors are a GM only product and there on National backorder.
