Picking up lunch for mine at one of her favorite restaurants, then bringing it, along with her grandkids to her house to spend the afternoon in the backyard.

Mom passed away in 1986, and I still miss her terribly!!

Oh I want. Martha has specials days that she get gifts, her birthday, my birthday, mothers day, fathers day, veterans day, christmas, and I'm sure I missed one or two. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif

For sure won't forget that day. That lady has taught me so much n has been behind me n supported me in everything I've done either military wise or personally. She's the sweetest lady in the world in my eyes, there's a few on here that have met her as well
My wife will be thinking of her mother alot as she passed in April 2008 still a very fresh feeling of loss. I was very close to her mom as well n miss that lady as well dearly
Mothers do so much for us all and it's ashame that some people only want to use one day a year to she their appreciation to their mother.....
