September Kentucky lake help

Im fishing the ilini series BFL on Ky lake next weekend as a co angler and have never fished Kentucky lake or Barkley. I just want and idea what to bring and expect.

Should i prepared for small mouth?
power fishing?
Finesse fishing?
Water clarity?
soft baits?
bottom baits?
deep ledges?
shallow water?

Any help is apricated TIA!!

Since you’re going as a Co, bring a little bit of everything down here and talk with your boater to figure out what exactly to pack in the boat. They can be doing any number of things on the lakes right now.
